What type of plans do I need?
To be able to provide an accurate quotation for your renovation or extension, we require:

- a full set of designs including specifications prepared by a building designer or architect
- a set of engineering plans
- a copy of your BASIX report
- your electrical requirements eg. how many power points, how many down lights in a room (which you can easily write up yourself)
- you to know what types of materials and design layouts you want to use eg. what type of floorboards, what pattern do you want your tiles to be laid in?
How can I get plans for my renovation or extension?
- engage a building designer or architect and engineer yourself
- engage A J Lee Building Services to organise the plans for you
TIP: Only a very small percentage of residential buildings in Australia are designed by Architects, most are designed by Building Designers
What about engineers details?
Engineers details are drawn up after the building designer or architect has drawn up the design of your renovation or extension.
